Broken Arrow, Tulsa County

Heating & Air Conditioning in Broken Arrow, OK

Broken Arrow is the Tulsa area's largest suburb, and the Creek Turnpike connects it to our home base in Sapulpa.

From farm town to Tulsa's largest suburb

Broken Arrow spent its early decades as an agricultural town. After the Broken Arrow Expressway (SH-51) opened in the 1960s, it grew into a major suburb that now reaches into both Tulsa and Wagoner counties. The downtown Main Street corridor, known as the Rose District, has seen renovated older homes and new townhomes go up around it.

We reach Broken Arrow on the Creek Turnpike, which starts at the Turner Turnpike in Sapulpa and curves around the south side of the city.

Homes from every decade

Because so much of Broken Arrow was built over a few decades of steady growth, the city has houses from nearly every era since the 1970s, along with older homes near downtown. Each era has its own HVAC issues.

Many older systems still in service use R-22 refrigerant, which has not been produced or imported in the U.S. since 2020. Repairs now rely on recycled and stockpiled R-22, which can make recharging after a leak expensive, so a refrigerant leak on an older unit is often the point where replacement makes more sense than repair.

Systems installed in the 1990s and 2000s are reaching the end of their useful lives too. When it is time to replace, we size the new system with a Manual J load calculation, check and balance static pressure, and give you a free estimate. Financing is available, subject to credit approval.

Better air inside the house

Oklahoma's spring and fall pollen seasons, summer humidity and dusty, windy days all end up inside. Tighter newer homes can trap more of it, and older homes can pull dust in through leaky ducts. Upgraded filtration, sealing and repairing ductwork, and keeping humidity in check all make a difference.

We can look at your system during a service visit and tell you which indoor air quality improvements are worth it for your home.

Some fixes are simple. A filter that fits the slot without gaps, a return grille that is not blocked by furniture and a drain line that is flushed each spring all help your system keep the air cleaner and drier.

Repair, maintenance and hours

When your air conditioner quits in July, our diagnostic visit is $95, and that fee is waived when you have us make the repair. Our Gold, Silver and Bronze maintenance plans help prevent those calls in the first place.

Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. After-hours help is available based on technician availability, and a surcharge may apply. Ask us about current utility rebate programs for your address too.

Broken Arrow HVAC questions

My Broken Arrow AC uses R-22. Should I repair it or replace it?

It depends on the age of the system and the repair. R-22 is no longer produced in the U.S., so a leak can be expensive to fix. We will give you the repair price and a free replacement estimate so you can compare.

Do you serve the Wagoner County side of Broken Arrow?

Yes. We serve all of Broken Arrow in both Tulsa and Wagoner counties.
