Heating & Air Conditioning in Sapulpa, OK
Sapulpa is home for Spartan Mechanical. Our shop is at 1201 W Taft Ave, Ste G7, so homes and businesses here are the closest calls we run.
A family-owned HVAC company in the Creek County seat
Sapulpa has been the Creek County seat since 1913, when the Oklahoma Supreme Court settled the long county-seat fight with Bristow. It is also where our shop is. When you call from Sapulpa, you are calling a family-owned company based right here in town, not a dispatch center in another city.
Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. After-hours help is available based on technician availability, and a surcharge may apply. A diagnostic visit is $95, and that fee is waived when you have us make the repair. Estimates on a full system replacement are free.
Route 66 homes, old and new
Sapulpa grew up on the railroad, glass and clay industries, and Route 66, which still runs through town as SH-66. That history shows in the housing: older homes near downtown and the Route 66 corridor sit alongside newer subdivisions on the edges of town. The heating and cooling problems are different in each.
In older Sapulpa homes we often find ductwork that was added after the house was built, central air that was bolted onto an existing furnace, and duct runs that are too small for today's equipment. A bigger unit will not fix that. What fixes it is measuring the house with a Manual J load calculation, checking static pressure across the system, and correcting the ductwork so the new equipment can breathe. We do both on every installation.
In newer homes, the usual story is a builder-grade system reaching the end of its life. Many of those systems can be repaired for a while, and we will tell you honestly when a repair makes sense and when replacing is the better money. If you are curious about a high-efficiency inverter system, we install Midea, TCL and TuttoKool equipment, and we service all major brands.
Built for Creek County weather
Sapulpa summers are hot and humid, and an air conditioner that only lowers the temperature without pulling out moisture leaves a house feeling clammy. Correct sizing matters here. An oversized unit cools fast, shuts off and never runs long enough to dehumidify.
Winter brings its own trouble. Ice storms and hard cold snaps push furnaces and heat pumps to their limits, and a heat pump that leans on its backup heat all winter will show it on the electric bill. Spring storms bring wind, hail and power flickers that can damage outdoor units and controls. If your system acts up after a storm, shut it off and call us before running it hard.
From the Heart of Route 66 to your house
Sapulpa wears its Route 66 heritage proudly, from the giant gas pump outside the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum to the 1921 Rock Creek Bridge with its brick deck. We cover every part of it: all of Sapulpa, including the part of the city that reaches into Tulsa County, plus the rural Creek County roads around it.
Ask us about our Gold, Silver and Bronze maintenance plans, financing on new systems (subject to credit approval), and current rebate programs from your electric and gas utility. You can call (918) 370-1260 or book online.
