Ductless Mini-Split Installation in Sapulpa & the Tulsa Metro
Some spaces are hard to heat and cool with ductwork. A ductless mini-split gives a garage, shop, addition or bonus room its own efficient heating and cooling, with no ducts required.
Garages and shops
Work comfortably year-round in a garage or metal shop that your home system was never meant to reach.
Additions and bonus rooms
Fix the room over the garage or a new addition without overloading your existing system or running new ducts.
Homes without ducts
Older homes and spaces that rely on window units or space heaters can get quiet, efficient comfort.
Room-by-room control
Each indoor unit has its own setting, so you only heat or cool the spaces you are using.
How a ductless mini-split works
A mini-split has an outdoor unit and one or more indoor units mounted on a wall or ceiling. A small bundle of refrigerant lines and wiring runs through a small hole in the wall to connect them. No ductwork needed.
Mini-splits are heat pumps, so they cool in summer and heat in winter. Most use inverter compressors that speed up and slow down to match the room, which keeps temperatures steady and keeps the system quiet.
Where mini-splits make sense
We install mini-splits around Sapulpa and Tulsa in spaces that are tough to keep comfortable. They are a great fit when extending ductwork would be costly, or when one room never matches the rest of the house.
- Detached garages and workshops
- Room additions and sunrooms
- Bonus rooms and finished attics
- Older homes without ductwork
- Home offices, gyms and studios
- Small offices and storefronts
Inverter brands we install
We install high-efficiency inverter mini-splits including Midea, TCL and TuttoKool. These systems offer strong efficiency at a price that fits our mission of making HVAC affordable again.
We will help you choose between a single-zone system for one space or a multi-zone system that runs several indoor units from one outdoor unit.
Sized and installed the right way
A mini-split that is too big for the room will short-cycle and leave the air clammy. Too small, and it won't keep up in July. We size every install with a Manual J load calculation and place each indoor unit where it can move air across the whole space.
Good installs also mean a clean, sealed line-set path, a proper condensate drain and a solid outdoor pad or mount. Those details keep your system quiet and trouble-free. Estimates are free, and financing is available, subject to credit approval.
Ductless Mini-Splits FAQ
How much does a ductless mini-split cost?
It depends on how many rooms you want to heat and cool, the size of each space and how far the indoor units are from the outdoor unit. A single room is far simpler than a whole-home multi-zone system. We give free estimates with clear pricing, and financing is available, subject to credit approval.
Can a mini-split heat a garage or shop in winter?
Yes. Mini-splits are heat pumps, so they heat as well as cool, and inverter models keep heating efficiently through most Oklahoma winter weather. Insulation matters a lot in garages and metal buildings, so we will talk about it during your estimate. A well-sealed space is far easier and cheaper to keep comfortable.
Do mini-splits need maintenance?
Yes, but it is simple. Rinse or vacuum the washable filters in each indoor unit every month or so during heavy use. Once a year, have a technician clean the coil and blower wheel, check the drain and test the system. Dirty indoor units can grow mold and lose efficiency in our humid summers.
Are mini-splits loud?
No. Inverter mini-splits are among the quietest systems you can buy. The indoor unit usually sounds like a soft fan, and the compressor sits outside. Because the system slows down instead of cycling on and off, you don't get the loud start-up you may be used to from an older air conditioner.
Can I add a mini-split instead of extending my ductwork?
Often, yes. Extending ducts to an addition or bonus room can overload your existing system and still leave the room uncomfortable. A mini-split gives that space its own system and its own controls. We can look at both options and tell you honestly which makes more sense for your home.
