AC Repair

AC Repair in Sapulpa & the Tulsa Metro

When your air conditioner quits in the middle of an Oklahoma summer, you need a straight answer and a fair price. We repair all major brands, and the $95 diagnostic is waived when you go ahead with the repair.

Not cooling

Air from the vents feels warm or barely cool, or the system runs all afternoon and never reaches the thermostat setting.

Strange noises

Grinding, squealing, buzzing or loud clicking from the outdoor unit or air handler usually means a part is wearing out.

High energy bills

A sudden jump in your electric bill without a change in weather or habits often means the system is working too hard.

Poor airflow

Weak air from the vents can come from a failing blower motor, a frozen coil, a clogged filter or a duct problem.

What happens on an AC repair visit

We start by listening. Tell us what you have noticed, when it started and anything that has changed. Then our technician checks the system from the thermostat to the outdoor unit, including the electrical parts, refrigerant pressures, coils, blower and condensate drain.

Before any work begins, you get a clear explanation of what is wrong and what it will cost to fix. You decide. If you go ahead with the repair, the $95 diagnostic fee is waived. No pressure and no surprise add-ons.

Common AC problems we fix

Most summer breakdowns come down to a handful of parts. Oklahoma heat is hard on electrical components, and our humidity keeps drain lines busy from May through September. These are the repairs we see most often:

  • Failed capacitors and contactors that keep the outdoor unit from starting
  • Refrigerant leaks, leak searches and recharges
  • Frozen evaporator coils and iced-over refrigerant lines
  • Clogged condensate drains and tripped float switches
  • Blower motor and condenser fan motor failures
  • Thermostat and low-voltage wiring problems

All major brands, one honest crew

We work on Goodman, Trane, Carrier, Bryant, Rheem, Lennox and other major brands, plus ductless and inverter systems. It does not matter who installed your equipment.

Our job is to fix what is broken, not to sell you a new system. If your unit is near the end of its life and a repair no longer makes sense, we will tell you plainly and give you a free estimate on a replacement so you can compare.

Same-day service when the schedule allows

A hot house can't wait long, especially with kids, older family members or pets at home. Call (918) 370-1260 during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and we will work to get a technician to you the same day when the schedule allows.

Need help outside those hours? After-hours help may be available based on technician availability, and a surcharge may apply. Ask when you call and we will tell you what is possible.

AC Repair FAQ

How much does AC repair cost?

Every repair starts with a $95 diagnostic so we can find the real cause. Once we know what is wrong, we give you the price for the repair before doing any work. If you approve the repair, the $95 diagnostic fee is waived. The total depends on the parts and labor involved, so we don't guess over the phone.

Why is my AC running but not cooling?

Start with the easy checks: make sure the thermostat is set to Cool, the filter is clean and the outdoor unit is running. If the outdoor fan is not spinning, a failed capacitor or contactor is a common cause. Ice on the lines, a refrigerant leak or a dirty coil can also be to blame. If the simple checks don't help, call us.

Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?

It depends on the age of the system, the cost of the repair and how often it has broken down. A system that is 10 to 15 years old with a major failure, like a bad compressor, is often a candidate for replacement. We will lay out both options honestly, including a free estimate on a new system, and let you decide.

My AC has ice on it. What should I do?

Turn cooling off at the thermostat so the ice can melt. Setting the fan to On can speed things up. Running a frozen system can damage the compressor. While you wait, check the filter and make sure supply vents and returns are open. Ice usually points to low airflow or low refrigerant, so if it comes back, schedule a repair.

Can you work on older systems that use R-22?

Yes, we can diagnose and repair older systems. R-22 refrigerant is no longer produced or imported in the U.S., so recharging an R-22 system with a major leak can be expensive. In that case, we will explain your options, including the cost of the repair compared to a new system, so you can make the right call for your budget.
