Heating & Air Conditioning in Mounds, OK
Mounds sits on US-75A in southern Creek County, about 10 miles south of our Sapulpa shop through Kiefer.
A small town with a long history
Mounds started as a post office called Posey, named for Creek poet Alexander Posey, and took its current name from a pair of nearby hills when the settlement moved in 1898. The railroad made it a cattle shipping point, and the 1905 Glenn Pool oil discovery turned it into an oil shipping point for a time. Today it is a quiet Creek County town, and the Astronomy Club of Tulsa runs its Mounds Observatory in the area.
We serve homes in town and the rural properties around Mounds.
Many homes out here are on larger lots, with shops, barns or outbuildings alongside the house. For a space that needs heating and cooling but has no ductwork, a ductless mini-split is often the simplest answer, with its own thermostat so you only condition it when you are using it.
Getting to you
US-75A runs through the middle of Mounds, north through Kiefer to Sapulpa, and US-75 is a couple of miles east by West 201st Street. That puts Mounds on a straight line from our shop.
Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. After-hours help is available based on technician availability, and a surcharge may apply.
Gas, electric and the right system for your home
The Town of Mounds lists Oklahoma Natural Gas for natural gas, and both OG&E and East Central Oklahoma Electric Cooperative as electric providers, depending on where you live. Homes with natural gas often pair a gas furnace with central air or a heat pump. Rural homes without a gas line are often best served by a heat pump with electric backup heat.
Utility rebate programs differ between providers and change from year to year, so ask us which current programs apply to your address before you choose equipment.
Whatever system fits your home, we size it with a Manual J load calculation and finish with static-pressure balancing. We install high-efficiency inverter systems including Midea, TCL and TuttoKool and repair all major brands.
Year-round care
Oklahoma's humid summers and winter ice storms are both hard on equipment. A spring cooling check and a fall heating check catch most problems before they become breakdowns. In spring we clean the outdoor coil, flush the condensate drain and check the refrigerant charge; in fall we look at burners, ignition, venting or heat pump defrost and backup heat. Our Gold, Silver and Bronze maintenance plans keep you on schedule.
Diagnostic visits are $95 and waived when you have us make the repair. Replacement estimates are free, and financing is available subject to credit approval.
