HVAC Maintenance & Tune-Ups in Sapulpa & the Tulsa Metro
A yearly tune-up is the easiest way to keep your system running efficiently and catch small problems before they turn into breakdowns. We handle spring AC tune-ups and fall furnace safety checks, and our maintenance plans make it simple.
Fewer surprise breakdowns
Weak capacitors, worn motors and clogged drains often show up during a tune-up, before they fail on the hottest day.
Lower energy use
Clean coils, good airflow and correct refrigerant levels help your system do its job without wasting power.
Safer heating season
A fall check looks at burners, venting and safety controls so your furnace runs safely all winter.
Longer system life
Regular care reduces strain on major parts like the compressor and blower motor.
Spring AC tune-up
Oklahoma summers are long, hot and humid, and your air conditioner works hard from May through September. A spring tune-up gets it ready before the heat arrives. Here is what we check:
- Clean and inspect the outdoor condenser coil
- Check refrigerant pressures and temperatures
- Test capacitors, contactors and electrical connections
- Inspect the indoor coil and blower
- Flush the condensate drain and test the safety switch
- Check thermostat operation and overall airflow
- Inspect or replace the air filter
Fall furnace safety check
Before the first cold night, we make sure your furnace lights reliably and burns safely. This is the visit that matters most for your family's safety, since a gas furnace makes combustion gases that must vent outside.
- Inspect the burners and burner flame
- Clean and test the flame sensor and igniter
- Test limit, rollout and pressure safety switches
- Inspect the venting and heat exchanger area
- Check gas connections for leaks
- Check blower operation and airflow
- For heat pumps, test defrost and backup heat
Gold, Silver and Bronze maintenance plans
Our maintenance plans take the remembering off your plate. Depending on the tier, plans include seasonal tune-ups, priority scheduling when things get busy and discounts on repairs.
Gold, Silver and Bronze plans are built to fit different homes and budgets. Bronze is $99 a year, Silver $179 and Gold $249 (our maintenance plans page compares them side by side), and we'll help you pick the one that makes sense. No upselling, just the plan that fits.
Between visits: what you can do
Check your filter every month and change it when it looks dirty. Keep grass, leaves and stored items a couple of feet away from the outdoor unit. After spring storms, clear away branches and debris.
If you notice odd noises, new smells, water around the indoor unit or a jump in your bills, call us before it turns into a bigger repair.
HVAC Maintenance & Tune-Ups FAQ
How often should I get an HVAC tune-up?
Twice a year is ideal for most homes: an AC tune-up in spring and a furnace or heat pump check in fall. Heat pumps run in both seasons, so they benefit the most from two visits. If you only do one, schedule it before the season you depend on most, which for most Oklahoma homes is summer.
What is included in a maintenance plan?
We offer Gold, Silver and Bronze plans. In general, they include seasonal tune-ups, priority scheduling and discounts on repairs, with the higher tiers offering more. Bronze is $99 a year, Silver $179 and Gold $249, and we will walk you through what each tier covers before you sign up.
Is a tune-up worth it if my system is working fine?
Yes. Many problems, like a weak capacitor, a dirty coil or a partly clogged drain, give no warning until they fail. A tune-up catches them early, when fixes are smaller. It also keeps the system running efficiently, which helps with energy bills during a long Oklahoma summer.
How often should I change my air filter?
Check it every month. Standard 1-inch filters usually need changing every one to three months, and homes with pets, allergies or construction dust may need it more often. Thicker media filters last longer. A clogged filter cuts airflow, raises bills and can cause a frozen coil or an overheating furnace.
When is the best time to schedule maintenance?
Book AC tune-ups in March or April and furnace checks in September or October. That way problems get caught before the first heat wave or cold snap, when schedules fill up fast. Maintenance plan members get priority scheduling, which helps during the busiest weeks of the year.
