After-Hours HVAC Help in Sapulpa & the Tulsa Metro
HVAC problems don't always wait for business hours. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Outside those hours, help may be available based on technician availability, and a surcharge may apply.
No heat in freezing weather
A dead furnace or heat pump during a cold snap is urgent, especially with babies, older adults or pipes at risk.
No AC in extreme heat
Losing cooling in a heat wave can be dangerous for older family members, people with health conditions and pets.
Water leaking inside
Water pouring from the indoor unit or ceiling can damage drywall and floors. Turn the system off to stop it.
Burning smell or sparks
Turn the system off at the thermostat and breaker. If you see smoke or flames, get out and call 911.
Our hours, stated honestly
We are a family-owned company, and we want to be straight with you about availability. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. That is when we can schedule repairs most reliably.
Evenings and weekends, help may be available based on technician availability, and a surcharge may apply. Call (918) 370-1260 and we will tell you what we can do. If we can't get to you right away, we will get you on the schedule as soon as we can.
Check these before you call
Some no-heat and no-cool calls have a simple fix. These checks are safe for most homeowners and might save you a service call.
- Thermostat: make sure it is set to Heat or Cool, the set point is right and the batteries are not dead.
- Breaker: look for a tripped HVAC or furnace breaker in your panel. Reset it once. If it trips again, leave it off and call us.
- Filter: a badly clogged filter can freeze an AC coil or make a furnace overheat and shut down. Swap it if it is dirty.
- Furnace switch: make sure the light-switch-style power switch near the furnace has not been turned off.
- Condensate switch: many systems shut off when the drain backs up. Water in the drain pan or a full condensate pump means the safety switch may have stopped the system.
Gas smell or carbon monoxide alarm
If you smell gas, leave the house right away and don't use light switches, phones or anything that could spark inside. Once you are safely outside, call your gas company or 911. If your CO alarm sounds, get everyone into fresh air and call 911.
These are emergencies for the gas company and first responders first. Once they have made it safe, we can find and repair the cause.
Getting through until help arrives
In summer, close blinds on sunny windows, run ceiling fans and keep doors to unused rooms shut. Move vulnerable family members and pets to the coolest part of the house, or somewhere with AC if the heat becomes dangerous.
In winter, close curtains at night, open cabinet doors under sinks on outside walls to help protect pipes, and use space heaters only as directed, with plenty of clearance. Never use an oven, grill or generator to heat your home.
After-Hours HVAC Help FAQ
Can I get HVAC help at night or on the weekend?
Sometimes. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Outside those hours, help may be available based on technician availability, and a surcharge may apply. We would rather be honest than overpromise, so call (918) 370-1260 and we will tell you what is possible.
Is there an extra charge for after-hours service?
A surcharge may apply for after-hours visits. Ask about it when you call, before a technician heads your way, so there are no surprises. If waiting until regular hours is safe for your situation, we will tell you, and you can avoid the extra cost. We would rather save you money than add to your bill.
Is no heat or no AC an emergency?
It depends on the weather and who is home. No heat during a freeze or no AC during extreme heat can be a real danger for babies, older adults and people with health conditions. A system that is still running but not keeping up can usually wait for regular hours. If you are unsure, call and we will help you decide.
Why did my AC shut off and not turn back on?
A common cause is a tripped condensate safety switch. When the drain line clogs, the switch shuts the system off to prevent water damage. Other causes include a tripped breaker, a dead thermostat battery or a frozen coil. Check those first. If the system still won't run, leave it off and give us a call.
