Heating & Air Conditioning in Kellyville, OK
Kellyville is about 8 miles southwest of Sapulpa on old Route 66, close enough that it is part of our home turf.
A Route 66 town in our backyard
Kellyville started as James E. Kelly's trading post in the early 1890s and grew up along the railroad. Route 66 arrived in 1926, and the old road still runs through town as SH-66, connecting it directly to our shop in Sapulpa. The Creek County Fairgrounds are here, and Heyburn Lake and its state park are a short drive west.
We serve Kellyville homes in town and the farms, acreages and rural properties around it.
Heating and cooling options for rural properties
Not every rural property has a natural gas line, and the right heating system depends on what fuel you have. For many homes outside town, a heat pump is the most practical way to heat and cool with one system. Modern inverter heat pumps keep heating efficiently well into Oklahoma winter weather, and a backup heat source covers the coldest nights.
For shops, barns, workshops and added-on rooms that were never connected to the house's ductwork, a ductless mini-split is often the simplest option. One outdoor unit can serve one room or several, and each indoor unit has its own temperature control.
We install high-efficiency inverter systems including Midea, TCL and TuttoKool, and we repair all major brands. Every installation gets a Manual J load calculation and static-pressure balancing, whether it is a farmhouse or a new build.
Ice storms, cold snaps and summer sun
Creek County gets its share of ice storms and hard freezes. When a heat pump ices over and does not clear itself, or leans on backup heat all day, something is usually wrong with the defrost controls, the refrigerant charge or the airflow. Catching that early saves money and keeps the house warm.
A fall maintenance visit is the best time to check defrost operation, backup heat and the thermostat settings that control them.
Summer is the other half of the story. Out in open country, outdoor units take the full afternoon sun, and grass, cottonwood fluff and dust collect on the coil quickly. Keep the area around the unit mowed and clear, and if the system starts running all afternoon without catching up, call before it fails outright. A dirty coil or a weak capacitor is a much smaller repair than a burned-out compressor.

My Kellyville home doesn't have natural gas. What are my heating options?
A heat pump is often the best fit, with electric or other backup heat for the coldest nights. We will look at your home and your current system and lay out the options.
Can you heat and cool a shop or barn?
Yes. Ductless mini-splits work well for shops, workshops and outbuildings with no ductwork. We size the system for the space before recommending equipment.
